New endurance challenge!
This new team challenge represents the biggest endurance challenge of the Sun Life Pentathlon des neiges! With nearly 75 km to complete, will you be the fastest and most enduring team… in the cold, to reach the top step of the podium, and walk away with one of the prizes at stake?
The Extra Long Distance Team Challenge is a unique endurance challenge. Brave participants will have to complete the 5 pentathlon stages in relays, over impressive distances. In total, each team will have to complete 75 km to cross the finish line and hope to climb onto the top step of the podium.
The fastest teams will share $15,000 in prize money ($3,000 for first in each category, $1,500 for second and $750 for third).
It’s sure to be a spectacular end to the 21st edition of the Sun Life Pentathlon des neiges.
Long blades are mandatory on this challenge.
Having fun is winning! And the more fun you have, the more likely you are to win. That’s right! A “Trophée de la Convivialité” is awarded to participating teams with the best costumes who bring joy to the event. The public is asked to vote for the winning team, which receives free registration for the next edition.
