Good news!

Despite the unstable winter and current snow conditions in the Quebec City region, we are able to hold a full event, with all five sports disciplines of the Pentathlon des neiges Sun Life maintained.

To achieve this, modifications have been made to the cross-country skiing and snowshoeing courses.

It is now possible to pick up the famous 2024 souvenir toque at participating Décathlon stores. All you need is proof of registration (registration confirmation e-mail).

Multiple concrete actions have been implemented by the organization for several editions already, with the aim of reducing waste production and limiting the energy consumption of the event.

The return to an event under “normal” conditions, after two years affected by the pandemic, was a success in terms of appreciation and participation. A total of 6,112 participants registered for twenty different challenges, spread over seven days of programming.

The weather forecast for Saturday, February 25th is forcing us to make changes to the course and schedule to ensure a safe event for participants and volunteers.

So the rumor is true, and some of you with a sharp eye have already noticed on our website: the finish is now the runner!

Martin Roy, Chairman of the Board, and Cynthia Paquet, General Manager of the Pentathlon Group, are pleased to announce the signing of a long-term agreement with Sun Life as title partner. As a result, the popular event will now be called the Sun Life Pentathlon des neiges.

The return of the Pentathlon to the Plains of Abraham for this 18th edition was crowned with an unexpected success.

Your government enthusiastically supports the Pentathlon des neiges. In addition to promoting physical activity, this winter event helps to raise the profile of our National Capital Region.

The Pentathlon des neiges team is more than happy to announce the 18th edition of the event, which will take place from Saturday, February 26 to Sunday, March 13, 2022, on the Plains of Abraham in Quebec City.

Despite the pandemic still raging in Québec City, the Pentathlon des neiges presented by Langlois Lawyers will indeed take place in 2021, in virtual mode, of course!

A free, open to all, virtual event, running from December 19, 2020 to January 4, 2021. Play sports and share with us, $20,000 in prizes are offered.
